Again, BPK Participates in the World Anti-Corruption Day 2017
Following the last year anti-corruption day event held in Riau Province, in 2017 this activity took place in Jakarta from December 11 to 12, 2017. The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) once again joined the event as its form of support to corruption eradication and prevention.
The event, which was opened by President Joko Widodo and the Chairman of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Agus Rahardjo, was themed "Moving Together Combating Corruption for People’s Prosperity". Through the theme, it is expected that it can unify the spirit to eradicate and prevent corruption throughout the country.
In accordance with the objectives of this activity, the BPK as a state institution having the duty to audit the management and accountability of the state finance, demonstrates its commitment to prevent and actively participate in the corruption eradication and prevention.
