Jakarta, Wednesday (Agustus 1, 2018) – The Board Member of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) for term of office of 2018 - 2023, Dr. Agus Joko Pramono, S.ST., M.Acc., Ak., CA. pronounced the oath of office today at the Supreme Court Building, Jakarta. Oath taking ceremony was guided by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Prof. Dr. M. Hatta Ali, SH, MH. This was done in accordance with Article 16 paragraph (1) of Law Number 15 of 2006 on the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, stating that prior to taking office, Board Members of BPK shall take an oath according to their religion.

The appointment as a Board Member of BPK is based on the Presidential Decree Number 97/P Year 2018 dated May 18, 2018 on Dismissal with Respect and Appointment of Board Members of BPK. The President of the Republic of Indonesia decided that from the 1st of August 2018, the dismissal of Agus Joko Pramono as a Board Member of BPK was official, and from the date of the oath today, he was inaugurated as he was re-elected as a Board Member of BPK for the period of 2018-2023.

Agus Joko Pramono previously served as a Board Member of BPK for the period of 2013-2018. During his tenure at BPK, he has served as the Board Member III (2013-2014) and the Board Member II (2014-2018). As the Board Member III, he oversaw the state financial management and accountability of State Institutions, people's welfare, State Secretariat, state apparatus, and research and technology. While as the Board Member II, he undertook the state financial management and accountability, especially in the field of economy and national development planning.

His formal education began from the State College of Accounting, which was later continued with a Master of Accounting from Gadjah Mada University and Doctoral of Governmental Science from Padjadjaran University.
