BPK Participated in the International Anti Corruption Day 2016

In order to commemorate the International Anti Corruption Day, the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) participated in an exhibition taken place from December 8 to 10, 2016 in the residence of the Governor of Riau Province in Pekanbaru.

The commemoration was themed Clean Heart, Integrity Upright, Professional Work for a Strong Indonesia ("Bersih Hati, Tegak Integritas, Kerja Profesional untuk Indonesia Tangguh”). The event was officially opened by the Chairman of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Agus Rahardjo, and attended by KPK's officials, the Governor of Riau Province, and anti corruption activists from all over Indonesia.

As part of the event, the workshop on the Development of the Integrity Zone towards a Free of Corruption Region was conducted by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, in which the BPK's Training Center was granted as a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Entity (WBBM) and the BPK's Representative Office in Yogyakarta Province as a Free of Corruption Entity (WBK).

In line with the purposes of the event, the BPK as a state institution responsible in auditing the management and accountability of the state finance shows its commitment in preventing and actively combating corruption.
