Commemorating the 72nd Anniversary, BPK Holds Various Competitions to Build Sportiveness and Togetherness

Commemorating the 72nd Anniversary of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK), all employees and leaders of BPK rejoiced in the opening ceremony of the BPK Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) conducted in the parking lot of the BPK Head Office in Jakarta on Friday. The opening was preceded by a parade of gymnastics participants of each working units featured by the BPK Marching Band.

The BPK Chairman, Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara and his Vice Chairman, Bahrullah Akbar officially opened the BPK Sports and Arts Week, accompanied by BPK Board Members namely Achsanul Qosasi and Isma Yatun, as well as the Ikistra members, comprising of wifes of BPK leaders.

In his remarks, the Chairman mentioned that through sports and arts, it is expected that BPK can realize the theme of "Energy, Synergy and Achievement". "Various competitions and activities are carried out not to determine who wins or loses, but to build sportiveness and togetherness. Let us make this series of activities as a medium to further optimize the energy we have to work together to promote BPK’s accomplishment," he said.

The commemoration of the BPK 72nd Anniversary will be filled with various sports competition and activities such as gymnastics, fun bike, volleyball, chess, soccer, table tennis, tennis, basketball and race walking. In addition, there will be competition of arts and information technology innovation. Under this circumstances, BPK will also meet BPK’s former leaders and employees, pay a visit to the graves of BPK’s former leaders, conduct social service activities such as holding a mass circumcision, blood donors, and donations to disadvantaged citizens.

Initiating the BPK Sports and Arts Week, the Chairman, Vice Chairman and the Board Member III participated in the cooking competition. The BPK leaders optimized the energy they have to work together to get the best results. Acting as a judge in this cooking competition were the Board Member V and the Ikistra.

The opening ceremony was also marked with Poco-Poco and Maumere gymnastics contest attended by all working units of the BPK. It was continued with a music parade, martial arts attractions dedicated by the BPK Representative Office in South Sumatera Province, stick gymnastics and archery exhibition from the BPK Representative Office in Yogyakarta Province, and a band performance from the BPK Representative Office in North Kalimantan Province.
