The Position of Head of BPK Representative Office in Maluku Province Officially Handed Over

The Board Member VI of the BPK, Harry Azhar Azis, witnessed the handover of the Head of BPK Representative Office in Maluku Province. The ceremony took place at the Representative Office in Ambon on Friday, of which the former Head, Ade Iwan Ruswana, was replaced by Muhammad Abidin. The Principal Auditor VI, Dori Santosa, the Secretary of Maluku Province, Hamin Bin Thahir and BPK’s officials attended the event.

In his speech, the Board Member said that promotion, rotation and mutation in an organization were an effort to maintain and develop professionalism. The handover was the proof that BPK is continuously striving for improvements in conducting its duties and functions.

As the guardian of the state treasure, BPK has to uphold the principle of independency, integrity and professionalism in order to maintain the quality of the audit. This will in turn contribute significantly to assisting the government in realizing transparency and accountability of state financial management. "Keep BPK’s dignity, especially the Representative Office in Maluku and all its personnel, uphold the values ​​of Independency, Integrity and Professionalism when carrying out duties and activities", the Board Member said.
