BPK and ACFE Indonesia Chapter Hold an Online Seminar

JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) held an online seminar themed Guarding the National Accountability through Corruption Eradication. The online seminar held on Monday was a collaboration between the BPK and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Indonesia Chapter.

Vice Chairman Agus Joko Pramono, who officially opened the seminar, said that the theme was in line with the tagline Accountability for All, aiming at broadening the meaning of accountability.

"Accountability for All is a major tagline brought by the BPK to be implemented in various activities, broadening the meaning of accountability to values ​​and culture fostered in the lives of the people and the nation", he said, wishing that experiences shared by the panelists would help make the most contribution to the efforts of preventing and eradicating corruption to increase the state financial accountability. The Vice Chairman further expressed his appreciation for the hold of the online seminar that was attended by approximately 900 people, consisting of 700 BPK employees and 200 ACFE Indonesia Chapter members.

The seminar presented the President of the ACFE Indonesia Chapter, Gatot Trihargo, the BPK Secretary General, Bahtiar Arif, and several other BPK officials. As the speakers, there were the Head of the Development and Finance Comptroller (BPKP), Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, the BPK Director General of Investigative Audit, I Nyoman Wara, the President Commissioner of PT PLN (Persero), Amien Sunaryadi, and the Director of Training of the ACFE Indonesia Chapter, Budi Santoso. Acting as the moderator was the Director of Organizational Development of the ACFE Indonesia Chapter, Maliki Heru Santosa.

Beside the seminar, the ACFE Global presented a Distinguished Achievement Award to the BPK Vice Chairman for his dedication and services in preventing and detecting fraud in Indonesia.
