BPK Board Member I Receives a Visit From Navy Chief of Staff

JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - The BPK Board Member I, Hendra Susanto, received a visit from the Navy Chief of Staff, Admiral Yudo Margono, at the BPK Head Office on Friday.

The participants of the meeting were Navy Inspector General, Rear Admiral Suselo, Navy Assistant of Planning and Budgeting of the Chief of Staff, Rear Admiral Muhammad Ali, and Director General of Audit I, Novy G.A. Pelenkahu.

The visit aimed at strengthening the cooperation between BPK and Indonesian Navy in carrying out organizational duties and functions. “it is expected that this visit will improve the synergy between BPK and Indonesian Navy, so that the state financial management and accountability are getting more transparent and accountable”, the Board Member I said.

On the occasion, the Navy Chief of Staff said that the inventory management system in the Indonesian Navy would be updated and improved. “We have created a task force to follow up BPK’s audit recommendations”, he said.

Currently, the Indonesian Navy is managing the fuel oil and lubricant (BMP) independently. It will immediately draw an action plan to follow up BPK’s recommendations to preventrepetitive problems.

The visit was concluded with souvenir exchange and photo session.
