BPK Elects Chairman and Vice Chairman during the Board Member Session

JAKARTA, Humas BPK - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) held a closed Board Member session to elect BPK’s Chairman and Vice Chairman. The session took place at the BPK Head Office in Jakarta on Monday. The session agreed on the election of Agung Firman Sampurna as the Chairman and Agus Joko Pramono as the Vice Chairman.

The meeting also decided on the division of duties and authorities of BPK Board Members, namely Hendra Susanto as Board Member I; Pius Lustrilanang as Board Member II; Achsanul Qosasi as Board Member III; Isma Yatun as Board Member IV; Bahrullah Akbar as Board Member V; Harry Azhar Azis as Board Member VI; and Daniel Lumban Tobing as Board Member VII.

The election process was carried out after the inauguration of five newly elected BPK Members on Thursday.

Pursuant to Law Number 15 Year 2006 concerning the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, the BPK’s Chairman and Vice Chairman shall be elected among BPK Board Members during a Board Member session within a maximum period of one month after the date of the inauguration.

In accordance with Article 16 paragraph (2) of Law Number 15 Year 2006, the elected Chairman and Vice Chairman will take an oath of office guided by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
