BPK Holds Workshop on Work Culture Involving All Units

JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - Work culture has an important role in achieving BPK’s vision and missions. The organizational culture at the working unit level will determine which added values contributing to the organization.

BPK Inspector General I Nyoman Wara says that the work culture is not merely implementing standards established at the working place, but it is a matter of how to improve the work culture into a necessity, which will become an energy resource of the organization.

"Work culture must be implemented properly, so that it can positively contribute to the performance of employees and institution," he said on a workshop on efforts to improve and develop the work culture in the BPK, Thursday.

The existence of the work culture will form an organizational culture that will eventually become the basic in ensuring the smooth run of the internal processes to achieve strategic goals, vision and missions of the BPK.

Initiated by BPK’s Inspectorate General, the workshop was held virtually and attended by BPK’s officials and employees from all working units. It aims at providing a learning discourse for working units and motivating them to improve the implementation of the work culture and develop innovations.

The workshop presents Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Bima Haria Wibisana and Former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan as resources persons. Through the experiences shared, it is expected that the participants will be able to understand and implement efforts to improve the work culture within respective working units.
