Maintaining The Quality of State Financial Management, BPK Gives Unqualified Opinion to PPATK and Ministry of KUKM

JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) appreciated the Center for Reporting and Analysis of Financial Transactions (PPATK) after succeeded in maintaining unqualified opinion. Board Member II Pius Lustrilanang said that the BPK gave the opinion in response to the quality of the state financial management.

"Findings have been followed up with the correction journal resulting in the adequate disclosure of the financial statements according to the standards. Additionally, findings requiring a disclosure in the notes to financial statements have been executed," Board Member said when handing the audit report on PPATK’s 2019 financial statements to the Head of PPATK, Dian Ediana Rae, at the PPATK office in Jakarta on Monday. It was witnessed by BPK Director General of Audit II, Laode Nusriadi, and other invited officials.

BPK Board Member II mentioned that problems found pertaining internal control system and non-compliances did not have any material impact on the fair presentation of PPATK's 2019 financial statements.

At the same occasion, Board Member II also handed the audit report on 2019 financial statements of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KUKM). The audit report was delivered to Minister Teten Masduki. Regarding the report, Board Member revealed that the unqualified opinion given was due to immaterial problems found during the audit process. He underlined that the Minister and all his staffs have followed up all recommendations up to the first semester of 2020.

"The BPK hopes that all recommendations can be followed up immediately in order to enhance accountability and transparency of the state financial management, especially within the ministry," he concluded.
