Secretary General Hopes Newly Recruited Civil Servants Can Contribute Their Best to BPK

Jakarta, BPK Public Relations – The BPK Secretary General Bahtiar Arif inaugurated five Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) to become BPK Civil Servants. Taking place in Jakarta on Thursday, they were those passing official duties and training programs during the probation period of approximately one year working in the BPK. The inauguration was carried out physically and virtually and attended by BPK officials.

In his remark, Secretary General expected that the newly appointed and sworn civil servants will be able to give their best contribution and understand the code of ethics.

"I hope that by becoming a civil servant, you can make the best contribution to BPK. Smiles and Greetings are easy things to do, but can have a big and deep influence to create a comfortable working atmosphere," he said.

He further explained about BPK's vision and missions for 2020-2024 to be a trusted audit institution playing an active role in realizing quality and useful state financial governance to achieve the national objectives. The Secretary General hopes that the newly appointed civil servants will be able to contribute and increase their capacity while applying the knowledge they obtained during the training, especially BPK basic values ​​and code of ethics.

The Secretary General also revealed the issuance of Law Number 5 Year 2014 regarding Civil Servants that has brought changes in the career of civil servants. Considered as a comfort zone, the new Law let the Civil Servants career be a competitive zone testing their competencies.

Thus, he advised the new civil servants to always be ready to face the competition and continue to develop their own competencies as in the upcoming years, every career development will be followed by a competency test to achieve highest quality of the institutional performance. continues to increase with the competition to show their best performance.
