JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - Isma Yatun and Agus Joko Pramono officially assume the positions of Chairperson and Vice Chairman of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) after taking the oath of office at the Supreme Court Building in Jakarta, Thursday.

The taking of the oath of office guided by Chief Justice Muhammad Syarifuddin is based on article 16 paragraph (2) of Law Number 15 Year 2006 concerning the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia. The ceremony is also witnessed by BPK Board Members, BPK officials and other invitees including previous BPK leaders, Members of the House of Representatives, ministers and other heads of institutions/agencies.

Isma Yatun replaces Agung Firman Sampurna whose term of office has ended. Isma Yatun previously served as Board Member V (April 2017 - October 2019) and Board Member IV (October 2019 - April 2022). Meanwhile, Agus Joko Pramono previously served as Board Member III (August 2013 - October 2014), Board Member II (October 2014 - October 2019) and Vice Chairman (October 2019 - April 2022).

The Chairperson and Vice Chairman of BPK are elected based on deliberation and consensus in a session of BPK Board Members as outlined in the BPK Decision Number 2/K/I-XIII.2/4/2022. In addition, the session also determines the division of duties and authorities of the Chairperson, Vice Chairman and Board Members.

The division of duties and authorities is as follows: Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana as Board Member I; Daniel Lumban Tobing as Board Member II; Achsanul Qosasi as Board Member III; Haerul Saleh as Board Member IV; Pius Lustrilanang as Board Member VI; and Hendra Susanto as Board Member VII.
