Chair Of BPK: Civil Servants Have Crucial Role in Succeeding The Country
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – Chair of the Audit Board the Republic of Indonesia (BPK), Isma Yatun, underlines that Civil Servants (ASN) have crucial roles in succeeding the country. Subsequently, the civil servants need to bear principles and carry out actions of loyalty and devotion to the country, have good moral and mentality, be professional, full of conscience at their responsibility of providing public service, as well as able to bind integrity and tighten up unity of the nation.
"To achieve them, giving guidance on educational paths and training in amplifying three pillars of the civil servants are vital," Chair of BPK said when delivering advice to participants of Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) and of Basic Training (Latsar) organized for civil servant candidates class II of 2023. The trainings were organized in Training Institute of State Financial Audit (Badiklat PKN), in Jakarta, on Friday (4/8).
The three pillars of Civil Servants (ASN) consist of, first, is actions and vigour of service orientating to fulfilling the needs of community, nation, country, and homeland. Second is technical competence and managerial or leadership capability. Third is efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of accomplishing duties that are carried out in cooperation and full responsibility in accordance with work place and organization.
Chair of BPK mentions that participants of Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) are encouraged to show implementation of transformational leadership and carry out programs in their institutions for High Performing Organization (OBT).
"The transformational leadership generates leaders who are able to change people and organization by injecting stimulus to subordinates to work and to produce high performance focussing on aspects of change," Chair of BPK said.
"As a result, leaders who have responsive, inspirational, and supportive qualities will give rise to innovation and creativity. At the end, these innovation and creativity are key to transformational leaders and long-term success of organization in accelerating readiness of institution in the era of digital disruption," she added.
Chair of BPK reminds all participants that after completing the trainings, as the civil servants, not only are they responsible for BPK, but they are also responsible for the public as main stakeholder.
In her report, Director General of Training Institute of BPK, Suwarni Dyah Setyaningsih, informs that the Basic Training (latsar) for civil servant candidate class II of 2023 is started from 14 March 2023 to 4 August 2023. All participants are recruitments of civil servant formation from State Finance Polytechnic of STAN, Indonesian State College of Accountancy. As many as 100 graduates participate in the trainings that are divided into 3 classes.
On the other hand, there are 22 participants of the Administrator Leadership Training (PKA). The training is organized from 23 June 2023 to 13 November 2023. The participants of the training comprise of administrators from either head office of BPK, or regional offices of BPK, and 1 participant from Transportation Office of Banjarmasin. The Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) is organized in both classical method, e-learning method, and self-learning method.
Seen at the closing of the trainings were Commander of Military Area Command Education Regiment (Rindam), Infantry Colonel Suwondo, team of coach in Rindam Jaya, high-level officials and trainers in Directorate General of Training Institute of State Financial Audit (Badiklat PKN).
