BPK Has Completed National Thematic Audit on National Priority 7 Fiscal Year 2022
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – Board Member I of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK), Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana gave his directions at closing meeting of National Thematic Audit on National Priority (PN) 7 fiscal year 2022 held at Auditorium of BPK Head Office on Tuesday (24/1).
Board Member I emphasized that the national thematic audit on PN 7 is one of strategic audit focused on issues that have a major influence on the achievement of development goals and have a major impact on the public interests. These include strengthening politics, law, defense, and security stability and public services transformation.
“The audit aims to enhance organizational maturity into insight and foresight levels, and to strengthen BPK’s role in becoming a focal point in contributing to overseeing the implementation of Medium-Term National Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as the international agendas,” he explained.
He further said it is hoped that there will be strategic audit results in the form of providing BPK’s viewpoint as an input to the government to be able to realize more quality and beneficial state financial governance to achieve state goals.
“However, the provision of BPK’s viewpoint to the government and its achievements cannot be conducted in one or two years. It possibly beyond the period of RPJMN 2024. I believe that by having good and continuous coordination among working units in BPK and integration with external parties, BPK’s viewpoint to the government in strengthening the stability of politics, law, defense, and security stability and public services transformation can be achieved,” he said.
One of strategic steps initiated by BPK in the national thematic audit is the formation of cooperation forum related to data exchange and utilization between Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Manpower, Protection of Immigration Migrant Workers Agency (BP2MI) and Directorate General of Immigration of Ministry of Law and Human Rights, as well as the development of the Portal Peduli WNI by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Present at the closing meeting were Director General of Audit I, Akhsanul Khaq, Director General of Investigative Audit, Hery Subowo, Director General of Planning, Evaluation and Development, Bernardus Dwita Pradana, Senior Advisors, and high-level officials of Directorate General of Audit I, Head of BPK Regional Offices, and team of working group of thematic audit of PN7.
