BPK is Asked to Release the Results of Its Investigative Audit on the Koja, Kalibaru, and Global Bond of Pelindo II

The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) is asked to immediately release the results of the investigative audit of Pelindo II which is being completed, i.e. the [contract] extension of Koja and Kalibaru, and the Global Bond.

This would demonstrate the level of seriousness of state auditors in helping Pelindo II, a State-Owned Enterprise, that is implicated in a number of cases that potentially become cases of mega corruption.

"We appreciate the efforts of BPK to perform an investigative audit on the [contract] extension of JICT, as it is full of systematic deviation and causing the state to suffer loss in the amount of Rp 4 trillion, but we are also very confident that there is a link between the two [contract] extensions between JICT and Koja and Kalibaru projects, as well as the Global Bond of Pelindo II. We hope BPK is able to uncover this,” said the Secretary General of JICT Workers Union Mokhamad Firmansyah in his statement to the press in Jakarta, Thursday (07/27/2017). (tribunnews.com)
