Strengthening Their Cooperation, BPK and NAD of Malaysia Hold 22nd Technical Meeting
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – On Thursday (June 12), the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) received a delegation from National Audit Department (NAD)/Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) Malaysia, led by Chair of NAD Malaysia Dato' Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi. The delegation was welcomed by Chair of BPK Isma Yatun, Vice Chair of BPK Budi Prijono, Board Member III of BPK Akhsanul Khaq, Acting Secretary General Bahtiar Arif, Inspector General Suwarni Dyah Setyaningsih, Director General of Audit III Dede Sukarjo, and Director General of Audit VII Pranoto.
Chair and Vice Chair of BPK expressed their gratitude for the visit of Chair of NAD Malaysia to BPK during his visit to Jakarta, where he is leading ASEAN Audit Committee meeting scheduled for June 13, 2025, at ASEAN Secretariat Office. The two institutions reached an agreement to work together in various potential areas, such as training, capacity building, and joint audits.
This meeting further strengthened the good relations between the two institutions, which have existed since 2007. The technical meeting, led by Board Member III of BPK, focused on two topics: Audit on Sharia Compliance and Follow-Up Audit Information System. BPK shared its experience in auditing Sharia banks on the first topic. NAD of Malaysia also conveyed its insights on auditing zakat, wakaf, baitulmal, and other revenues. In the second topic, BPK discussed audit resource planning, the Follow-Up Monitoring Information System (SIPTL), and Big Data Analytics (BIDICS) laboratory used in BPK's audit management. Meanwhile, NAD of Malaysia presented the implementation of a dashboard to monitor the results of audits. The discussion concluded with a visit to BPK's BIDICS laboratory.
Chair of NAD of Malaysia also visited BPK Training Institute of State Financial Audit to see several training facilities. Director Genderal of BPK Training Institute of State Financial Audit, Raden Yudi Ramdan Budiman, explained the concept of BPK Corporate University (BPK Corpu), which serves as a strategic framework designed to integrate learning and development across all work units. Chair of NAD of Malaysia expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to foster bilateral cooperation in training between BPK Training Institute of State Financial Audit and NAD of Malaysia.
During this concise yet impactful visit, BPK and NAD of Malaysia agreed that the existing bilateral relationship can continue harmoniously and yield advantages for the capacity development of both institutions.
