BPK Holds a Meeting with Those Charged with Governance (TCWG) of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) as Part of the Audit on the Financial Statements of IPU for Fiscal Year 2024
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) held an online meeting with Those Charged with Governance (TCWG) of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) on Monday (24/3). The meeting was part of the submission of the Audit Report on the Financial Statements of IPU for Fiscal Year 2024, which was handed over on 14 March 2025, as well as a follow-up to the meeting between Chair of BPK and Secretary General of IPU in November 2024. This also highlighted BPK’s commitment to adhering to international auditing standards regarding communication with TCWG.
During the meeting, BPK presented the Audit Report on the Financial Statements of IPU for Fiscal Year 2024. BPK also appreciated IPU management’s significant collaboration throughout the audit process. In addition, BPK commended IPU for successfully implementing all of the recommendations from the previous year’s audit.
The meeting was attended by Acting Director General of Audit VIII and International Organizations, Bahtiar Arif, who also served as Auditor in Charge for financial audit of IPU, Director of International Organizations Audit, Kusuma Ayu Rusnasanti, and audit team of IPU. Furthermore, Chair of Sub-Committee on Finance TCWG of IPU, Milton Dick, accompanied by Internal Auditor of IPU, Mia Glover-Rolle, and Secretary General of IPU, Martin Chungong also attended the meeting.
Milton Dick expressed his gratitude to BPK for conducting a high-quality audit. He also appreciated the comprehensive report and the in-depth analysis provided for the financial statements of IPU. He further encouraged IPU to take immediate actions to follow-up on the audit recommendations.
During the meeting, both BPK and IPU reaffirmed their commitment to continuously strengthening transparency and accountability in the organization’s financial management.
