BPK Organizes Eid Al-Fitr 1446 H Prayer: From a Clean Heart to Integrity Action
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) conducted Eid al-Fitr 1446 H Prayer on March 31, 2025 in BPK Head Office yard, in collaboration with the Baitul Hasib Mosque. The Eid prayer was attended by Chair of BPK, Isma Yatun, along with Board Member I of BPK, Nyoman Adhi Suryadyana, and Board Member III of BPK, Akhsanul Khaq.
In his speech, Board Member III of BPK highlighted that Ramadan worship series at BPK, which included mass prayers, breaking the fast together, recitation, zakat, infaq, and shadaqah, served as educational activities for all BPK personnel, significantly contributing to the development of individuals who are independent, possess integrity, and maintain professionalism. "I hope the formation results during Ramadan will positively influence the piety of all BPK personnel, enabling them to further promote both personal and social piety, and ensuring the optimal execution of their tasks. The ongoing sequence of worship and kindness will benefit BPK organization," he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. KHM. Asrorun Niam Sholeh, MA, Chair of the Central MUI for Fatwa, stated in his sermon that Eid al-Fitr is an inauguration of every human being’s purity, following mental and spiritual forging to become a person with strong faith, firm belief, and a clean heart. The instruments of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr devotion must be embodied in self-integrity, speech and action, which invariably result in kindness toward others. This kindness extends not only to our fellow humans, but also to our fellow creatures.
The Preacher went on to explain that Ramadan worship results in at least three types of self-integrity: a commitment to guarding the tongue, a commitment to honesty and discipline, and a commitment to guarding oneself from shubhat (uncertainty or doubt) and ethical violations. "The post-Ramadan momentum must be used by all of us to create a person of integrity, to provide a better life, to keep our tongues, to be more honest, trustworthy, careful, and full of noble morals. May Allah SWT always give us the strength to keep our integrity and continue to progress in all aspects of life," he explained.
The Eid prayer, which was also attended by Madya High Leadership Officials (PPTM), Primary High Leadership Officials (PPTP) of BPK, employees, and hundreds of people around BPK office, was concluded by shaking hands and forgiving one another physically and mentally.
