Slamet Edy Purnomo is Officialy Served as Board Member of BPK
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – Slamet Edy Purnomo is officially served as Board Member of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK), after taking oath of office administered by Deputy Chief Justice of Supreme Court, Sunarto. The oath taking took place in Supreme Court in Jakarta on Tuesday (1/8).
The official inauguration of Board Member of BPK is in compliance with Presidential Decree Number 60/P of 2023 dated 19 July 2023 concerning Honorable Dismissal and Official Inauguration of Board Member of BPK. The decree states that President of Republic of Indonesia officially formalises the respectful dismissal of Agus Joko Pramomo as Board Member of BPK period of 2018-2023 and officially inaugurates Slamet Edy Purnomo as Board Member of BPK period of 2023-2028.
Prior to the oath taking, Slamet Edy Purnomo has completed fit and proper test. Through a voting mechanism by Members of Commission XI of the House of Representatives, Slamet Edy Purnomo is appointed as Board Member of BPK on 31 May 2023.
The plenary session of the House of Representatives led by Vice Speaker, Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus, decided to agree that Slamet Edy Purnomo to be Board Member of BPK. The appointment of Board Member of BPK is in accordance with Article 14 (1) of Law Number 15 of 2006 which states that Board Member of BPK shall be appointed by House of Representatives with due observance of Regional House of Representatives.
After the oath taking, Board Members of BPK are now consisting of 9 persons, including Isma Yatun, Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana, Daniel Lumban Tobing, Achsanul Qosasi, Haerul Saleh, Ahmadi Noor Supit, Pius Lustrilanang, and Hendra Susanto.
In accordance with BPK Regulation Number 3 of 2017 on Amendment of BPK Regulation Number 1 of 2015 on Determination of Duties and Functions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Board Members of BPK, it is stated that after the inauguration, Board Members will hold a meeting to determine their duties and functions.
