Jakarta, Monday (4 September 2023) - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) wins the first place in the Inter-Ministerial/Institutional Table Tennis Match, competing for the 2023 BPK Cup. The competition takes place at the Auditorium of BPK Head Office in Jakarta, Saturday. Representatives from 16 ministries/institutions, namely BPK, House of Representatives (DPR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Social Affairs, Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP), Central Statistics Agency (BPS), National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), National Narcotics Agency (BNN), National Civil Service Agency (BKN), State Administration Institution (LAN), Indonesian Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Agency for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BP2MI), Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), Maritime Security Agency (BAKAMLA), and Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The Chair of BPK, Isma Yatun, opens the competition, which are also attended by Vice Chair and Members of BPK and some leaders of ministries/institutions such as Head of BPKP, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of LAN. All ministries/Institutions send 112 representatives.

The match is organized to commemorate the 78^th Indonesia’s independence day. The match is divided into five matches, namely: two men's doubles, one women's doubles, one men's singles and one mixed doubles. The match is led by a committee of referees from the All Indonesian Table Tennis Association (PTMSI) DKI Jakarta.

The BPK Chair says that the competition will not only improve health and productivity, but also strengthen friendship and synergy between agencies amidst the busy tasks of serving the country. "Table tennis is not only a game that prioritizes hand and eye speed alone, but behind every blow and attack, there are strategy, precision and quick focused response. Likewise, our daily tasks must be fast, tactical and according to the rules. However, in a match, positive spirit and joy are engraved inspiring and strengthening friendship among ministries/institutions. This is the foundation for encouraging collaboration in the future," Isma Yatun said.

In the competition, BPKP wins the second place and BNN and BIG are at the third place.
