Handover of Position for Head of BPK Regional in West Java Province Aims to Ensure Continuity in the Implementation of Organizational Duties and Functions
BANDUNG, BPK Public Relations - The handover of positions in the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) is more than just a ceremonial occasion, it carries significant strategic implications for ensuring the continuity of the organization’s duties and functions. This was conveyed by Board Member V of BPK, Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, during the handover ceremony for the Head of BPK Regional Office in West Java Province, in Bandung, West Java, on Thursday (13/3).
Board Member V of BPK, in his remarks, appreciated Widhi Widayat for his dedication, hard work, and contributions during his tenure as Head of BPK Regional Office in West Java Province. “Under his leadership, many achievements have been made, not only improving the performance of the BPK Regional in West Java Province, but also strengthening the BPK's position as a state institution with credibility and integrity,” he said. Widhi will assume new duties and responsibilities as the Director General of Audit V of BPK.
Furthermore, Board Member V of BPK expressed the expectation that the newly appointed Head of BPK Regional Office in West Java Province, Eydu Oktain Panjaitan, will effectively collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders, while also fostering innovation and upholding integrity in the execution of in his duties. Eydu has previously undertaken a range of strategic roles, including Head of BPK Regional Office in North Sumatra Province and Head of BPK Regional Office in West Sulawesi Province.
“In the capacity of a regional leader, the position of Head of Regional Office plays an important strategic role. Not just as the primary driver in the task implementation in the region, but also as a liaison between BPK Head Office and local governments and other related agencies,” he said.
Board Member V of BPK also emphasized several important matters that require collective attention. One of them is that BPK is committed to enhancing its role in national development by conducting state financial audits, aiming to achieve quality and beneficial state financial governance. This is in line with the constitutional mandate assigned to BPK.
“For this reason, we consistently strive to improve the effectiveness of the quality control system, while also improving the effectiveness of obtaining quality assurance at both the audit and institutional levels, in order to obtain quality audit results,” he explained.
The handover ceremony was attended by Governor of West Java Province, Dedi Mulyadi; Chair of House of Regional Representatives (DPRD) of West Java Province, Buky Wibawa Karya Guna; members of Regional Leadership Communication Forum of West Java Province, regional heads in West Java Province and high-level officials of BPK Regional Office in West Java Province.
