Hendra Susanto, Who Begins His Career as Civil Servant, is Appointed as Vice Chair of BPK
JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – The board member meeting of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) on 1 August 2023 decided to appoint Hendra Susanto as Vice Chair of BPK, succeeding Agus Joko Pramono whose term was ended.
Hendra Susanto was officially assuming position as Vice Chair of BPK after he took the oath of office administered by Chief of Justice of Supreme Court, M. Syarifuddin, in the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, in Jakarta, on Friday (4/8).
Prior to his appointment as Vice Chair of BPK, Hendra Susanto was Board Member VII of BPK for period of 2022-2023. He was also former Board Member I of BPK for period of 2019-2022.
Hendra Susanto is not a new name in BPK, his career is started as civil servant (ASN) level III of 1999 class in BPK. Certainly, Hendra Susanto has plenty experience in auditing state/regional financial management and accountability.
Along his career, he has been trusted in several high-level positions, such as, manager of audit II.A in BPK Regional Office of Jambi Province, technical supervisor of audit in BPK Regional Office of Banten Province, and Director of Audit under Directorate General of Audit I of BPK.
The election for Vice Chair of BPK is run in the board member meeting of BPK. It is in accordance with article 15 (2) of Law Number 15 of 2006 and Law Number 4 of 2023 on Election Procedures of Chair and/or Vice Chair of BPK.
The meeting issued BPK Decree Number 4/K/I-XIII.2/8/2023 on 1 August 2023 informing about new composition of the board members. The new composition consists of Isma Yatun (Chair of BPK), Hendra Susanto (Vice Chair of BPK), Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana (Board Member I of BPK), Daniel Lumban Tobing (Board Member II of BPK), Achsanul Qosasi (Board Member III of BPK), Haerul Saleh (Board Member IV of BPK), Ahmadi Noor Supit (Board Member V of BPK), Pius Lustrilanang (Board Member VI of BPK), and Slamet Edy Purnomo (Board Member VII of BPK).
