Hindus in BPK Hold Dharma Shanti Ritual for Day of Silence Celebration
DENPASAR, BPK Public Relations - Dharma Shanti is one of ritual series in celebration of Day of Silence, Nyepi, having a philosophical meaning of forgiveness to reach peacefulness. Hindu employees in the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) held Dharma Shanti to celebrate Day of Silence, Nyepi, marking 1945 Saka New Year. The Dharma Shanti took place in Auditorium of BPK Regional Office in Bali Province located in Denpasar, on Friday (31/3).
All Hindu employees in Head Office of BPK and Regional Offices of BPK participated in the Dharma Shanti, either in person or virtually. Opened by Chairperson of BPK, Isma Yatun, the Dharma Santi takes a theme "Melalui Dharma Agama dan Dharma Negara Kita Sukseskan Komitmen Umat Hindu BPK Mewujudkan BPK Hebat dan BPK Kuat" or Succeeding Commitment of Hindus in Virtue of Religious Dharma dan State Dharma for Great BPK and Strong BPK.
Chairperson of BPK says that the theme is both relevant and stand-up for current condition of BPK. In her view, commitment of Hindu employees in BPK is inspired by Religious Dharma and State Dharma that are required to work, carrying out their duties and functions to achieve common goals of BPK.
"For Hindus in BPK, implementation of State Dharma and Religious Dharma is by working professionally and upholding integrity as part of religious devotion for Great BPK and Strong BPK," Chairperson BPK said.
Chairperson of BPK explains that not only is human resources development carried out formally by Directorate General of Education and Training, but human resource development is also enriched with a combination of spiritual activities and local culture creativities. As a result, internalization core values of BPK comprising of independence, integrity, and professionalism will be conveyed both in good heart and effectively by respective employees in their works.
"Using religious holiday celebration, an internalization positive interpretation on it in their works will be one of alternative approaches to human resources development for employees in BPK," she explains.
Along with Chairperson of BPK at the Dharma Santi were Board Member VI of BPK, Pius Lustrilanang, Director General of Audit VI, Laode Nusriadi, Inspector General, I Nyoman Wara, both structural and functional positions, and other invitees.
Closing her remarks, Chairperson of BPK conveys her high appreciation for all employees who have carried out their works fully while kept upholding core values of BPK, independence, integrity and professionalism. Chairperson of BPK hopes celebration of Day of Silence or Nyepi becomes a great momentum both to maintain and to improve integrity, work performance, dedication as well as work ethic.
