BPK and SAI Singapore Strengthen Their Bilateral Collaboration and Cooperation

JAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – On Thursday (22/8), the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) received a visit from the Auditor General of Singapore, Ms. Goh Soon Poh, who was accompanied by Assistant Auditor General Ms. Mabel Watt and four other delegates from Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) Singapore. The delegation was welcomed by Chair of BPK Isma Yatun, who was accompanied by Secretary General of BPK Bahtiar Arif and Director General of the BPK Training Institute on State Finance Audit, R. Yudi Ramdan Budiman.

This visit aimed to strengthen the bilateral relations between BPK and SAI Singapore, which have been well-established under the framework of ASEANSAI (ASEAN Supreme Audit Institutions).

During the meeting, Chair of BPK expressed her appreciation for the SAI Singapore’s significant role as Vice Chair of ASEANSAI from 2024 to 2025. She emphasized that SAI Singapore's contribution would add substantial value to the organization, particularly in addressing future challenges.

As the ASEANSAI Secretariat, BPK will collaborate closely and support SAI Singapore to prepare for its upcoming leadership as Chair of ASEANSAI for the 2026-2027 period.

SAI Singapore also conveyed its gratitude for the continuous cooperation with BPK, particularly within the ASEANSAI forum. They expressed a strong desire to continue strengthening this relationship in the future.

During the visit, BPK and SAI Singapore discussed a range of important topics, including BPK's profile, digital transformation journey, as well as human resource development and training. The SAI Singapore delegation also shared their experiences with Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) that their institution has implemented.

This meeting is expected to further enhance the strong relationship between the two institutions and pave the way for future cooperation. The exchange of experiences and knowledge during this visit is expected to broaden both parties' insights and contribute to their shared goals of improving audit quality and public accountability in their respective countries.
