BPK Strengthens Public Sector Audit Cooperation with Auditor-General's Office (AGO) Singapore
SINGAPORE, BPK Public Relations – Chair of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) Isma Yatun, accompanied by Director of Public Relations and International Cooperation Bureau Teguh Widodo, made a high-level official visit to the Auditor-General's Office (AGO) Singapore on Tuesday (4/2). This visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in the field of public sector audits.
BPK delegates was received by the Auditor-General of Singapore, Goh Soon Poh, along with Deputy Auditor-General Rina Chua, Assistant Auditor-General Mabel Watt, and other officials.
Both parties discussed strengthening collaboration and exchanging experiences in public sector audits, building on discussions from a prior meeting in Jakarta on August 22, 2024.
The BPK and AGO delegations engaged in discussions and exchanged knowledge on two key topics, namely digital transformation and the use of data analytics in public sector procurement audits, as well as the implementation of knowledge management in financial audits.
Additionally, the meeting addressed preparations for the ASEANSAI Summit, scheduled to take place from November 11 to 13, 2025, in Singapore. On this occasion, both parties exchanged views on ASEANSAI’s role in strengthening audit capacity in the ASEAN region, as well as strategic issues to be discussed at the upcoming summit.
Through this visit, BPK and AGO reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional relations and deepening synergies in public sector audits. This initiative is aligned with broader initiatives to enhance accountability and transparency in state financial management at the regional and global levels.
