BPK Submits Audit Reports on State Losses Calculation of PT Pertamina (Ltd) and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Tengah to Bareskrim Polri
Jakarta, Tuesday (29 October 2024) - The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) submitted two Audit Reports on State Losses Calculation to the Director of Corruption Criminal of Indonesia National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) at BPK Head Office, today (29/10). These reports included an Investigative Audit Report on State Losses Calculation regarding acquisition of land located in Rasuna Epicentrum Kuningan Complex, South Jakarta, by Pertamina (Ltd) and other related agencies, as well as an Investigative Audit Report on State Losses Calculation regarding financing provided to PT Sinergi Asia Perkasa (SAP) by PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Tengah and other related agencies.
Both audits were conducted by BPK in response to a request from Head of Special Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police. Based on the audit, BPK concluded that:
- Irregularities indicating criminal acts committed by related parties in the land acquisition located at Rasuna Epicentrum Kuningan Complex, South Jakarta, involving PT Pertamina (Ltd), resulting in state losses for PT Pertamina (Ltd) totaling Rp348.69 billion.
- Irregularities indicating criminal acts committed by related parties in the financing provided by PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Tengah to PT Sinergi Asia Perkasa, resulting in state losses for PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Tengah totaling Rp27.72 billion.
Audit Report was handed by Director General of Investigative Audit Nyoman Wara, to Director of Corruption Criminal of Bareskrim Polri, Cahyono Wibowo. "We sincerely hope that Directorate of Corruption Criminal of Bareskrim Polri can effectively use the results of state losses calculation to investigate related cases," explained I Nyoman Wara.
According to BPK Regulation Number 1 of 2020 on Investigative Audits, State/Regional Losses Calculation and Providing Expert Testimony, BPK conducts Investigative Audits aimed at determining the presence or absence of State/Regional Losses resulting from irregularities in the management of state/regional finances.
