Chairman Of BPK, Agung Firman Sampurna, Receives Noble Title of Surakarta Palace
SURAKARTA, BPK Public Relations – Chairman of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK), Agung Firman Sampurna, received noble title of Surakarta Palace. The noble title awarded along his name was written as, Kanjeng Pangeran Harya Dr. Agung Firman Sampurna Purnadiningrat, S.E., M.Si., CSFA., CfrA., CGCAE.
The title, Kanjeng Pangeran Harya (KPH), means Agung Firman Sampurna receives a noble rank privilege as well as becomes a member of noble family of Surakarta Palace as called Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat, or since its location is in region of Solo, it is also called Solo Palace.
King of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat, Sri Susuhunan Paku Buwono (PB) XIII, awarded the noble title in person to Agung Firman Sampurna in Surakarta Palace located in Solo, Central Java, on Tuesday (9/3/2021).
Not only was the noble title awarded to Agung Firman Sampurna, but his wife, Dian Anggraini, also received a noble title privilege. The title attached to her name was Kanjeng Raden Ayu (KRAy) Dian Anggraini Setyaningsih.
The noble title is a privilege given to individual who has been continuously contributing and committing services to the region, including beneficent activities such as, preservation of culture and tradition not only in the area of Surakarta Palace but also in archipelago of Indonesia in particular.
Dressing in full traditional clothes of Surakarta Palace, the Chairman and his wife attended the noble title ceremony that run sacredly, smoothly, and safely guarded by the palace staffs. Heading out from one of buildings in the palace Dalem Ageng Prabasuyasa, Sri Susuhunan Paku Buwono (PB) XIII or Sinuhun PB XIII in short started the noble title ceremony processes in another building in the palace Sasana Sewaka at 11.00 AM. As part of the processes, the palace dancers performed a traditional dance Bedaya Ketawang at the noble title ceremony.
